| Dilemmas & Decisions This book offers a stimulating way into discussion of a wide range of ethical issues of the kind commonly covered in RE and Citizenship. Forty-eight issues can be explored in the form of a game which invites students to make decisions when faced with ethical dilemmas. The issues fall into eight groups: environmental issues; wealth and poverty; relationships and sexuality; personal integrity; medical ethics; community ethics; peace and conflict; ideas of goodness. These activities could well complement those in the Looking Inwards - Looking Outwards books. |

Faith in the Future This is an anthology of writing by children and young people drawn from 25,000 questionnaires completed by pupils during the 1997 National RE Festival. The writing includes comments on death, prayer, human value, freedom, justice, spiritual experience, life the universe and everything. Respondents included Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Humanists, Jains, Jews, Muslims, Pagans, Sikhs, and many 'still thinking' or 'not sure yet'. Their ages range from seven to nineteen and their powers of self expression are amazing. As a starting point for exploration and reflection this is a superb resource. | |
