Building E-Bridges Based on an action research project by Julia Ipgrave based at her primary school in Leicester. Encounter between differences is at the forefront of the fight against prejudice and for social harmony.E-mail exchange between schools in different areas offers an answer to some of the questions our modern world raises about the education of its children. Building E-bridges sets out a model of inter-faith dialogue by e-mail for teachers to adapt for the needs of their own schools. It lays down the principles that have guided existing work in the field, offers advice on the practicalities of setting up e-mail partnerships and suggests a variety of ways in which the links might be developed further. Includes case studies of successful projects, practical advice on technical and communication issues, and frameworks for planning, assessment and evaluation. | |
